Quandary
Is the "Itsy-Bitsy Teeny-Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" a yellow bikini with polka dots of a different color, or a bikini of a different color with yellow polka dots?
Cause that's been bugging me today.

Interesting. I've always assumed a yellow bikini with other-color dots on it.
Further, is it the bikini that is itsy-bitsy or the DOTS that are itsy-bitsy?

I always assumed it was white with yellow dots.
And probably the bikini is itsy-bitsy. :)
And BTW I HATE how they screw up that song in a commercial for some weight loss product.

What Zinnia said...I always thought it was white with yellow polka dots...I am probably one of the few who is old enough to remember when the song first came out...sigh...
this just in, a quick anecdotal analysis of my yahoo/google search on the web seems to indicate that a majority of folks agree with Bonnie and that the bikini is yellow, with other colored dots. Green dots seems to be a popular choice...
